day 09 - a song that you can dance to

I can dance to anything with a good beat! Songs that are fun to dance to in the disco are probably any Lady Gaga or Rihanna song. Then there are these classics that they play in every club these days, We no speak Americano and Barbara Streisand, haha!

But, in funk class we had a cool choreography to the following song.
And I absolutely love the feeling of the song!

Kladdkaka

Funkisskifte

(You have to bare that I occasionally change the language.. Sometimes it's easier in one language than in another.. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause! Haha..)

day 08 - a song that you know all the words to

Wow, I know all the words to a LOT of songs. I mean, who doesn't know the words to all the Spice Girls, Britney Spears and Backstreet boys songs from the late 90s? Or the soundtrack from Grease? I mean, I rock at remembering lyrics! If there would be a profession such as "lyrics rememberer", I would be perfect for it!

Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit. But still, I listen to music all the time, so I guess I am unconciously learning all the lyrics. I know the lyrics to many of the songs I've already shared with you, and the lyrics to the songs I'm going to share with you in the future.

One song that came to mind was All about you with Mcfly. It was the first song me and Malin played together on our guitars, about 2 or 3 years ago. I think I'll always remember both the lyrics and the chords to that song.

day 07 - a song that reminds of you of somewhere

Okay, I changed it a bit.. Day 6 is about an event, and today a song that reminds me of somewhere.
Every time I hear this song I think BREMEN! Because this is what was popular about a year ago, when we went to visit our German friends!

day 06 - a song that reminds you of a certain event

Before I head for school and statistics class, I'm gonna share a song with you. A song that reminds me of a very special event.
In November 2009, right after my 18th birthday, me and Malin went to Helsinki to see the Paramore-concert. Best. Concert. Ever.
I remember buying the Paramore t-shirt and thinking that nothing really matters as long as I make sure that my life is as good as it should be. It's funny how music can change your way of thinking.
So, with that said, this song reminds me of the arena, it makes me see every bit of the concert clearly, as if it was yesterday and not 1½ years ago.
Enjoy.

day 05 - a song that reminds you of someone

My sister had a thing for the Grease-movie a while ago. Or, maybe not the movie itself, but at least she listened to all the songs until even I started to get annoyed. (And I love the movie!) And she also played Elvis Presley's song Return to sender over, and over, and over, and over again. So, naturally, these songs remind me of her. Good times. Sis, Day 5 songs are dedicated to you!

day 04 - a song that makes you sad

When I saw the headline for day 4, I new immediately which song to choose.

Just Jack - The Day I Died on MUZU.

day 03 - a song that makes you happy

I missed day 3 yesterday, so here it goes.
A song that makes me happy. I have the same problem here that I had with the first part of this list-thing, I can't choose only one. The thing is, I either choose one song, or 100 songs. So here it goes, one song that makes me happy.

This song reminds me of all the warm summer nights in Croatia, when me, Malin and Leila sat and played the guitar and sang and had fun.

day 02 - your least favorite song

No comments needed.

day 01 - your favorite song

I always fear that I have to answer the question "What's your favourite song?", because I simply can't choose just one. I think that Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and Hotel California by The Eagles are the most well written songs ever. I love Misguided Ghosts by Paramore, Into your arms by The Maine, Kisses start wars by Ryan Adams, Tighten up by The Black Keys, and basically 50 more songs that have made an impact on me.

So, this was a good start. Can't even answer the first question properly. Great.
Listen to this song, maybe you'll forgive me. It's one of the 50 songs i mentioned above.

Back in town!

After about two weeks of relaxing and not-having-to-cook-by-myself back home in Närpes, I am now back in the great city of Helsinki and ready to take on the new term. Or something.

There were open doors at DCA (danceschool) so me and Heidi went there and danced our asses off today. 5 hours of popping, locking, house and souldance! These are all new dance styles for me, but it was so much fun! We had two popping classes. One with a really good female teacher, and then with a self-centered guy whose name I don't remember. Although he was a really good dancer, I couldn't do anything else but laugh at him.

Well, I have to go and stretch now, so that my muscles will be able to function tomorrow. French at 8.15, YEAH!

Närpesrundon

My dear friend Sofia got her drivings license the other day! There's no other way of celebrating that than going for a drive around Närpes. With her as the driver of course.

Speaking of driving, anyone up for a road trip somewhere this summer? Or next summer? Or anytime us poor students collect enough money?
Unfortunately, money doesn't grow on trees...
